The Coolest New Thing

They're artsy.
They're hot.
They're funky.
They're new.

But most of all:
These gorgeous fine featherheads
are just the thing to
spice up your beautiful locks.

You can curl, straighten, brush, or blow dry these babies too.
How natural and convenient.

I'm off to get my own done! Pictures soon to come.

Penguin Jumping

Personally, I don't do the whole penguin jump thing.

Even though they are cute.
I guess I just don't have the faith it takes
to risk my health and safety
for a badly executed jump.

Plus I don't want to end up like "this guy:"

Blogs

What is it about blogs that's so...

addictive

interesting

?

Blog is a blend of the term web log and according to wikipedia:

"Blogs are usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. Blog can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog."

Deliciousness: Garden Berries of the Straw Variety

Otherwise known as...
STRAWBERRIES.

Just your regular garden strawberry.
Widely appreciated not only for its lovely red color but also its
and delicious smell and taste.
Considered a fruit both culinarily and botanically, which is nice.

Did you know it's actually a hybrid species?
First bred in France in about 1740.
A cross between Fragaria virginiana from North America (the irresistible flavor)
and Fragaria chiloensis from South America (the large size).

Technically: strawberries are an aggregate accessory fruit
Which basically just means that the fleshy part is derived from the receptacle that holds the ovaries (achenes), not the ovaries themselves.
Each seed on the outside is actually one of the ovaries of the flower,
with a seed inside it.

But enough about female reproductive parts.
Anyway.

Just go eat some (SOON) and enjoy.
